"For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. [Hebrews 3:4 , New International Version]" is the sentence that drag me from my bed (actually, floor) to open the door this morning.
Two man ringing the door bell at my apartment this morning (around 10:30 AM). At that time, I was sleeping. I thought that would be the pest control service, at the first time. But when I opened the door and saw them, they dressed way too better than pest control service guys. Two old men with formally decent looks in their suits.
I kind of curious and thinking in my mind ".. are they lawyers and want to sue me with no reason?". But then, after we say hi, the white guy introduced himself and ask me about design and creation. I didn't remember the exact word but he ask me something like "Are you curious about existent of everything?".
Respectfully, I have no idea about :D
And then he showed me a bible and referring to those sentence I stated above.
I kind of admire him in his attempt to distribute his believes. So I didn't strongly reject his believes. All I said is just "I am not a bible reader, not at all :)" (I really talked with smile face).
The reality is I never believe that God creates everything.
My beliefs are all about Buddha Dharma, of course I am a buddhism.
God create everything, then who create him?
F, my most erotic friend, said god is existed, no one created him. And he has such a power to create everything. Believe in god, heaven you go. Down to hell, vice versa.
My believe is, our soul is such a thing that existed without creation. And we reincarnate for a long time. The way to stop this birth-and-death cycle is Nirvana. There are such heavens and hells, but only our actions will decide where would we go. Good, go to heavens. Evil, go to hell. When the good or evil reaction force (from what we did) end. The other reactions from what we did would drive us to somewhere or give us something (we always did things).
With this topic, I spent time discussing with F for an hour or so. And there is, obviously, no conclusion since they are "beliefs" that hard to prove. Then F tell me the way to prove the existent of god by "praying". Just make a wish to the God as children ask something from their father, and put "in the name of Jesus Christ" in the end. Surely, I will do so, and we can discuss more about the result.
I will leave this topic just at this point, or it could be my dissertation for another religion philosophy degree :)
Use your own experience and wisdom to believe or not to believe in such a thing.
But the things I believed with all my heart is good people won't go to hell just only because they didn't believe in god (thinking about people before Christian era, wouldn't it so unfair to them?).

My opinion, as the person who doesn't believe in religion, is that there is no god, no hell and even heaven.
Agree that soul's existence is not the creation of anything, I mean ,
the existence of soul is not the product of anyone, but the natural process which is uncontrollable.
This means that the death is equal , we were born by nature, and we 'r back to nature after we dead, everybody likes this. Even the heaven or hell exists, who will judge about who is good or bad?
good or bad is up to the judgment of each person, no one is good or bad, indeed. Sometime, if god exists, i'm pity on him becuz he gets hard works to help anyone who prays to get what they want.
By the way, who the heck i should believe than myself?

มันคือ Quantum physics นั่นเอง ที่อิเล็คตรอนเลือกเส้นทางเอง (Absolute randomness) โดยปราศจากเหตุผล
ปัญหาึคือ การที่อิเล็คตรอนเลือกเส้นทางเองโดยปราศจากเหตุผล
เป็นข้อพิสูจน์ว่า เหตุการณ์บางเหตุการณ์ในโลกไม่จำเป็นต้องมีคนทำให้มันเกิด หรือส่งผลให้มันเป็นอย่างนั้น (แต่ทุกเหตุการณ์ต้องมีจุดเริ่มต้น ตรงนี้ต้องแยกกันให้ดี)
พูดง่าย ๆ คือ
- ถ้า quantum physics ถูก มันแปลว่า Something does not need to have a cause
- ถ้า quantum physics ผิด มันก็แปลว่า Everything needs a cause
ก็อีกนั่นแหละ Quantum physics ก็ใ่ช่ว่าจะอยู่บนพื้นฐานการทดลองที่ดี
เพราะแค่เราทดลองแล้ว หา Cause ที่ทำให้อิเล็คตรอนเลือกเส้นทางไม่เจอ ไม่ได้แปลว่า มันจะไม่มี Cause (นี่แหละทำให้ Einstein ทำใจกับ Quantum physics ลำบาก คนทั่วไปก็คงรู้สึกยังงั้น)
แต่นักฟิสิกส์ส่วนใหญ่ในโลกตอนนี้ กลับยอมรับสิ่งที่เรียก ว่า Absolute randomness (แปลกไหม ?)
ดังนั้นคำถามที่ว่า Does God really exist? ควรจะตอบว่า กูไม่รู้

แต่แค่เปิดให้เห็นความเป็นไปได้ที่ จะไม่มีใคร create God เพียงแต่ God เริ่มต้นขึ้นมาเอง
ดังนั้นจะเห็นว่า สิ่งที่เราเถียงกันอยู่ตอนนี้ อยู่บนพื้นฐานที่อ่อนแอมาก ทั้งสองฝ่ายมีโอกาสที่จะล่มไปพอ ๆ กันทั้งนั้น

as i read, first scientist believe in absolute randomness, by the way
if the randomness is considered, the graph that can be plotted should be normal curve, but in real, they found that the graph plotted for many things are in the form of exponential. Exponent said that everything has wider range than normal curve, the value stick together at the beginning and the rare cases occur with less and less ratio. I dont know much 'bout quantum physic, but i do believe that if the experiment was continued assiduously, the physician would be able to find more cases that electron went on that way ( and may b, in longer distance).

I personally disagree with the quote "there is no god, no hell and even heaven". Not only I'm a christian who always does believe in existence of GOD and the judgement of god but also how would it unfair for every single GOOD man and BAD man in this world will recieve the same thing once they die? totally become the same single bit of sand? C'mon!
Well, I won't argue with anyone here about being of GOD. I know we are coming from different beliefs and have our own thoughts. Further arguement would only lengthen the discussion with endless knot.
On top of that, thing that make human human is Power of Choice which every kind of animal in this planet never has. Just believe in whatever you do and do not being reluctant to change whenever it needs.
Btw, if someone around here would like to discuss more about GOD or Christianity, any comment or discussion could be taken with me. ^_^
